San Casciano dei Bagni è uno dei borghi più belli d’Italia, adagiato nella Val D’Orcia, lì dove il verde dei prati brilla più che mai, il sole illumina i dolci profili delle colline senesi, la storia ha lasciato testimonianze senza tempo.
Pochi chilometri dal borgo toscano e dalle terme e, nella natura più incontaminata, si materializza Villa Vetrichina, il luogo delle fate, dei sogni, delle sorprese.
Ristrutturata nel 2012, Villa Vetrichina era un podere di campagna del 1700: la magia del passato si sposa con il comfort e il design moderno, regalando un’esperienza unica, grazie anche ad uno staff pronto ad accogliere con attenzione, cura e passione.
La villa è aperta tutto l’anno e può essere affittata nella sua totalità oppure si può scegliere una delle fantastiche camere, tutte arredate con gusto.
Patrizia Ricagno, la proprietaria, genovese di nascita, con esperienza trentennale nella ristorazione e accoglienza turistica, propone agli ospiti cene e serate a tema, ricche di sorprese e allegra convivialità.
Dopo una giornata alle terme o in giro per le bellezze di questi luoghi, la sera il ristorantino di Villa Vetrichina diventa il posto giusto per rilassarsi.
Lo Chef Francesco Falciani concorda il menù con gli ospiti guidandoli in assaggi di specialità locali in un’atmosfera accogliente e informale al calore del camino.
Ma è anche possibile partecipare ad una interessante cooking class: con lo Chef Francesco si utilizzano materie prime di qualità del territorio. La casa padronale si apre e si trasforma in un laboratorio dove un panetto di acqua e farina diventa tagliatelle, ravioli, fettuccine e il profumo delle salse di condimento sono una promessa.
Al mattino una gustosa e ricca colazione è servita in una cucina il cui arredamento è un mix gradevolissimo tra antichità e moderna eleganza.
E le camere da letto poi sono un’esperienza indimenticabile. Difficile scegliere tra le camere La Turquesa, il Barone Rosso, La Dama Bianca, I Sogni d’Oro, Le Papere, Il Pizzo. Ma sicuramente tutte le camere assicurano comfort e sogni meravigliosi.
Andar via da Villa Vetrichina non è facile: sicuramente rimarrà il ricordo indelebile della pace, del relax, della natura, dei colori e dei sapori che questo soggiorno regala.
E già pensi alla prossima volta. Si, perché Villa Vetrichina è il sogno che esiste, che si materializza e di cui tutti abbiamo bisogno.

San Casciano dei Bagni is one of the most beautiful towns in Italy, nestled in the Val D’Orcia, where the green of the meadows shines more than ever, the sun illuminates the sweet profiles of the Sienese hills, history has left timeless testimonies.
A few kilometers from the Tuscan village and the thermal baths and, in the most uncontaminated nature, Villa Vetrichina materializes, the place of fairies, dreams, surprises.
Renovated in 2012, Villa Vetrichina was a country farm from the 1700s: the magic of the past is combined with comfort and modern design, giving a unique experience, thanks to a staff ready to welcome, care and passion.
The villa is open all year round and can be rented in its entirety or you can choose one of the fantastic rooms, all tastefully furnished.
Patrizia Ricagno, the Genoese-born owner, with thirty years of experience in catering and tourist accommodation, offers guests dinners and theme nights, full of surprises and cheerful conviviality.
After a day at the spa or around the beauty of these places, in the evening the restaurant of Villa Vetrichina becomes the right place to relax.
The Chef Francesco Falciani agrees the menu with the guests guiding them in tastings of local specialties in a welcoming and informal atmosphere at the heat of the fireplace.
But it is also possible to take part in an interesting cooking class: with Chef Francesco, quality raw materials from the area are used. The manor house opens and turns into a laboratory where a stick of water and flour becomes tagliatelle, ravioli, fettuccine and the scent of seasoning sauces are a promise.
In the morning a tasty and rich breakfast is served in a kitchen whose decor is a very pleasant mix between antiquity and modern elegance.
And the bedrooms are an unforgettable experience. It is difficult to choose between the rooms La Turquesa, Il Barone Rosso, La Dama Bianca, I Sogni d’Oro, Le Papere, Il Pizzo. But surely all the rooms ensure comfort and wonderful dreams.
Leaving Villa Vetrichina is not easy: the indelible memory of peace, relaxation, nature, colors and flavors that this stay will offer will surely remain.
